Lucy Sheen is an actor of East and South East Asian heritage who is also a published writer, playwright and poet. She has worked at The Royal Exchange, The National, The RSC and Bristol Old Vic alongside many of Britain’s top actors, including Dame Helen Mirren, Sir Ian Holm, Glenda Jackson and, more recently Brian Cranston.

In this podcast, Helen talks to Lucy about her route into the Industry, the realities of choosing a career as a performer and why resilience is so important. Lucy also shares her thoughts on overcoming challenges and the ongoing struggles faced by East and South East Asian actors working in the industry.
